  Very happy with the staff and the service. The price at 33.20 for the small/medium car was fine. Enterprise policy on damage is general very good and you don't feel that anyone is trying to catch you out over some small scratch that you didn't see - which does feel like the case with some providers. So all good. The one thing which is difficult is the choice you get on protecting the windscreen. Windscreen damage is largely outside your control as a driver. But the cost to add that per day is significant on the overall rental. So if you take it - the whole things is too expensive. If you don't, you feel like you are playing Russian roulette over the the £2000 excess.

  We hired a car for the weekend the car was much bigger then we were used to but it was great to drive staff are very welcoming & friendly will definately use them again

  Visited this branch and was given a faulty van which had: - low tyre pressure (had to do myself) - was dirty inside with rubbish left in the back - faulty with door sensors (kept saying door was open but had slammed all and can confirm they were closed) - faulty rear number plate light (one) The staff were friendly and when I picked up the van it was available for collection at the right time. The price was good for the service but unfortunately all the above issues were identified when the van was then being used over the weekend (shop closed). Due to this, when the van was due to be returned I took it back and told the staff about the issues. I’d done less than 50 miles and they said I hadn’t put fuel in it but in turn ‘as a gesture of goodwill’ told me they wouldn’t charge me £5.00 as I raised all these above faults with them. Not sure that’s really a good deal but nonetheless I made it clear that the faults aren’t okay. I’ve rented from other dealers which are much quieter with customer footfall and their vehicles are looked after but London and Essex branches etc seem to have their vehicles hammered and bashed about by customers. The staff said due to turnaround of vehicles they can’t clean them properly which I dispute as that’s their whole business model and maybe need to hire an extra pair of hands to valet the vehicles in between customers. I would use Enterprise again because of the competitive prices but I’d advise users to be cautious of faults which make vehicles unroadworthy from this specific branch, before driving off if possible. Thank you.
